OCCU 586 Spirituality, Meaning and Health in Occupation

In this course students are introduced to the client factor of spirituality within the occupational therapy profession and how to address the spiritual dimension of occupational therapy practice. This course provides tools and strategies within the occupational therapy profession to provide person-centered occupational therapy intervention to promote health and wellbeing. Students also reflect on their own spirituality, values and beliefs as a foundation to understand the spirituality, values and beliefs of clients.
