Post-BSN Nurse Educator
39 Credits
Designed for registered nurses who have earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing (BSN). The MSN plan of study requires completion of 39 graduate nursing credit hours. This track provides advanced graduate nursing education for academic and/or clinical practice nurse educator roles. Graduates will be prepared to take the National League for Nursing (NLN) Certified Nurse Educator examination after meeting the eligibility requirements. The MSN provides a foundation for doctoral study.
There are three points of entry to the MSN: Nurse Educator Track, 1) Post-BSN, 2) Post-ADN or Diploma, and 3) Post-ADN or Diploma with a non-nursing baccalaureate degree.
