Public Relations (B.A.)
Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates from Messiah’s Public Relations program can:
- Develop skills common to the liberal arts and sciences: research, analysis, reflection, and communication.
- Develop knowledge common to the liberal arts and sciences in the fields of arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. Students will also develop specialized knowledge and disciplinary expertise.

Develop informed and mature convictions about Christian faith and practice.

Become proficient in the scholarship of their discipline and demonstrate specialized skills needed to pursue a career and/or graduate school.

Gain awareness of identity, character, and vocational calling.

Demonstrate a commitment to service, reconciliation, and justice, and lead effectively and ethically within the complexities of an increasingly diverse and interdependent world.

Three credits from the following interpersonal communication courses:
Three credits from the following major writing courses:
One of the following options, must be taken for letter grade (1-3):
INTE 394: Students may take INTE 394 for 4-12 credits. Three of those credits would count towards the major, additional credits count as free electives.
