CIS 474 Digital Forensics

Digital forensics is a branch of forensics science that encompasses the recovery and investigation of material found in digital devices. Students will learn how to recover evidence in civil and criminal investigations using proper techniques and tools while developing an understanding of the types of computer and electronic crimes committed today. They will explore vulnerabilities of computer and electronic systems and techniques to exploit those vulnerabilities. Students will articulate how the Christian life-style enhances the legal and ethical aspects of any computer investigation.
