Finance Certificate

Program Overview

The finance certificate prepares students to become a financial professional in the public, corporate or private sectors by developing real-world skills to analyze the financial market for investment banking to financial planning and beyond.

Learning Objectives

Students who complete Messiah’s finance certificate demonstrate the ability to:

  1. Students will recall, recognize, and interpret foundational content related to financial management, investments, and corporate finance.
  2. Students will apply business concepts, strategies and tactics
  3. Demonstrate an ability to conduct methodological secondary research into business issues
  4. Articulate how the Christian faith informs one’s work life, career, and daily business practices
