NURS 703 Advanced Family Nursing Practice of Adults II

This theory course focuses on diagnosis and management of healthcare needs of adults and families in primary healthcare settings. Key points include preparation of family nurse practitioners to address health promotion, disease prevention, early detection, and management of common chronic/complex healthcare problems. Emphasis is placed on pathophysiology, etiology, incidence, clinical findings, differential diagnosis, complication management, patient education, and preventative measures.
