CIS 255 NIX System Administration and Security

This course is designed to give students an overview of the system administration profession, and teach specific system administration skills using Linux as a server technology. Students will learn various elements of server technology such as installing, upgrading, and maintaining servers, planning for and responding to outages, designing and configuring computer networks, understanding computer security, and automating tasks with scripting.
