ENGL 322 Writing: Nature and Travel

This upper-level professional writing course examines the conventions of nature and travel writing for diverse audiences. Drawing on personal experience and research, students read and discuss both professional and literary authors such as Henry David Thoreau and Wendell Berry who write in this form and then practice the conventions of the form in their own original place-based writing.
