HDFS 396 Infants, Toddlers & Families

This course examines the role of the family and other caregivers in the development of infants and toddlers (ages 0-3). Early intervention and assessment techniques will be explored along with developmentally appropriate practices. Students will become familiar with the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), and other resources and services that may be available to infancts and toddlers and their families.
