ATHT 624 Clinical Care in Athletic Training
In-depth review and resolution of case studies related to broad spectrum of patient care in athletic training. Patient care course is designed with two goals in mind. First, application of evidence-based medicine principles to case studies related to injuries and medical conditions occurring within the active population. Second, thorough application of conceptual knowledge developed to this point in the athletic training program from a faith-based perspective. Areas of focus will include prevention, clinical decision-making, patient-centered care, documentation, assessment, therapeutic interventions, and return-to-activity.
