EDME 548 Teaching In English and Teaching English

Intended for practicing teachers of any subject or grade who have English learners (ELs) in their classes, this course guides teachers through the implementation of strategies for EL content learning and language acquisition. Students will apply learning through active teaching, guided reflection on teaching, and individualized projects on meeting the needs of ELs within specific grade levels and content areas. Discussion, observations, and mentorship will assist teachers in their implementation and skill development.
