OCCU 636 Enrichment Seminar
In this course, students will explore the transition from an occupational therapy student to a practicing occupational therapist, including certification and licensure processes. Students will explore their professional responsibilities, including professional development, involvement in professional organizations, and their future role as a Level II Fieldwork student. Students will also expand their roles by applying the principles of teaching and learning and practice skills required in academic settings by reviewing critical skills required for Level II Fieldwork with their peers. Preparation will include caring for mental health during Level II Fieldwork and initial years as a practitioner.
