Messiah University is an accredited institution by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104. (267-284-5000) www.msche.org. The MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET http://www.abet.org. Discipline-specific degrees such as the BSME cannot be reviewed for accreditation until a student graduates with each degree. Program leadership has designed new degrees with accreditation expectations in mind. We anticipate an accreditation review for each discipline-specific degree (BSBME, BSCE, BSEE, BSME) during the 2022-23 academic year.

As an active participant in current developments in higher education, the University also holds educational memberships in many organizations, including the Association of American Colleges and Universities, the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania, the Council of Independent Colleges, the Christian College Consortium, the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
