ATHT 640 Athletic Training Clinical Experience IV

The fourth clinical experience is an opportunity for students to experience a traditional athletic training setting, the student-preceptor relationship, and clinician-patient interactions. Throughout the curriculum, the clinical experiences provide space for implementation of learned skills, practice of all aspects of patient-centered care, and development of professionalism, critical thinking and evidence-based medicine skills. Additional emphasis will be on inter-professional collaboration within a broader healthcare team. This experience will require a minimum of 240 contact hours.
