NRSG 401 Healthcare Policy

Stewardship of healthcare resources in the United States requires knowledge of healthcare history, policies, and financial structures. This course will introduce students to the components of high-quality healthcare, cost-containment strategies, quality improvement, impact of policy decisions, and health outcomes. Students will analyze health policies and participate in legislative advocacy at the local, state, or national level.
