THEO 201 Contours of the Christian Faith

An exploration of the essential beliefs and practices of Christianity. The course introduces students to the Christian practices of biblical interpretation, theological reflection, and spiritual development, as well as the major traditions of Christianity across the world today. Students will consider their own approaches to spirituality in conversation with core Christian beliefs (e.g., about God, humanity, and salvation) and practices (e.g., prayer, Bible reading, and worship).
