Interim Suspension

In certain circumstances, the Dean of the School of Graduate & Professional Studies or designee may impose an interim suspension prior to a hearing before a disciplinary officer or body. Interim suspension may be imposed: a) to ensure the safety and well-being of members of the University community or preservation of University property; b) to ensure the student’s own physical or emotional safety or well-being; or c) if the student poses a definite threat of disruption of or interference with the normal operations of the University. Please Note: Students who have been suspended, withdrawn, or expelled for disciplinary reasons are not permitted on campus (this includes online coursework) without prior approval of the Dean of the School of Graduate & Professional Studies.
