APHS 170 Concepts of Holistic Wellness
Understand basic foundations of holistic wellness, physical fitness concepts, and prescription for the fitness components of cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength and endurance, flexibility, and body composition. Design and implement individualized exercise programs. Engage in regular exercise and practical learning experiences to assess stress management techniques and daily caloric expenditure. Discuss stewardship of the body, mind and soul through a Christian faith perspective.
