BIBL 202 Interpreting the Bible for Majors

Equips students to interpret the Old and New Testaments in their historical and literary contexts. Students explore various genres and address the origin, transmission, and canonization of the Bible. Students learn to understand and apply biblical texts responsibly through careful reading and analysis. Alternate to BIBL 201, designed specifically for students pursuing a major in Biblical and Religious Studies or Christian Ministries and Leadership.
