CHEM 342 Advanced Synthesis and Spectroscopy

One four-hour laboratory and two seminars per week. Laboratory will consist of the synthesis and analysis of organic and inorganic chemicals. The seminar includes instruction in interpretation of spectroscopic data, particularly modern NMR techniques; discussion of the results of the synthesis and analysis; and guidance in the presentation of written reports.
