CHRM 356 Mobilizing Congregations for Justice

An exploration of Christian beliefs, public theology, and ecclesial practices of grassroots justice and neighborhood activism. The course will emphasize the praxis of radical discipleship, peacemaking, liberation ethics, and prophetic witness, and their overlaps with nonviolent resistance, movement theory, and organizing theory.
