CIS 251 Hardware and Software

Examines the basic components of the hardware and the software of a variety of computers ranging from desktops and mobile devices to the Internet of Things. In addition to understanding the theory of how things work, students will be expected to troubleshoot and find solutions to actual computer problems without knowing in advance whether the problems actually exist or whether the problems are caused by the hardware, software, or network issues.
