EDSP 303 Disability and Society

Examine contemporary societal views about disability, and function of systems serving individuals with disabilities in the United States, including how disability interacts with marginalized race, ethnicity, gender, socio economic status, and/or religion. Employ socio-cultural and Christian faith frameworks and perspectives to reason about disability in society, including barriers experienced by individuals with disabilities, and one’s role in promoting good for individuals with disabilities. Fulfills Intercultural Perspectives-US General Education Requirement.
