EDSP 409 Psychological Testing

This course is a detailed study of screening, assessment, and diagnostic procedures and instruments used in determining eligibility, and planning and evaluating instruction for individuals with disabilities from birth through 8th grade who are accessing the general education curriculum or functional curricula. It includes the historical, philosophical, and sociological foundations of assessment and its relationship to educational decision-making and instructional design, measuring student attainment of essential skills in a standards-based environment, and interpreting assessment data to inform educational decisions.
