HPED 329 Sociology of Sport

In this course, students will explore the intersection of sport with various social institutions, identities, and phenomena. Students will use classical and contemporary sociological theories to examine current realities, myths, and ethical issues in sport. Additionally, students will analyze the social structures in sport within and between different cultures and societies.
