MUGE 210 American Popular Music

In this course, students will analyze and describe the various musical styles and types popular in American culture during the 19th and 20th Centuries. This includes music types like pop songs, ragtime, jazz, and rock. The course activities include class participation in listening sessions, analyzing elements of music, and performing popular music in a variety of styles and forms.
