PHIL 101 Problems in Philosophy

In this course we discuss the work of serious thinkers on philosophical topics of both historic and contemporary interest including free will and determinism, divine foreknowledge, the relation of the mind and body, and Christian responses to the problem of evil. Rigorous argumentation is key to philosophical knowledge. Therefore, we analyze and evaluate philosophical arguments for and against the views we cover.
