PHSC 102 Foundations of Physical Science

This course is designed for non-science and education majors. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the principles and models used across the physical sciences. Students will describe the major concepts in physics, chemistry, astronomy, meteorology and geology, with a focus on the conceptual understanding of these fields and their applications to everyday life. In the laboratory, students will gather physical data across the disciplines in the physical sciences and interpret the data in the light of scientific models.
