RELI 229 Islam

This course introduces and surveys Islam as a religion, a way of life and as the foundation for several empires and flourishing civilizations. Given the significance of Islam in the current global and national environments, the course explores the rich diversity within the Islamic world and analyzes the roles Islam plays in US and world affairs including Islam's relationship with Christianity.
