WELL 112 Beginning Tennis

To provide the opportunities for the student to 1 describe and understand the relationship between care of the body and well-being as it pertains to tennis, exercise the relationship between care of the body and well-being as it pertains to tennis, exercise the body and participate in ongoing physical activities, and develop habits of exercise and physical activity that could be maintained over a lifetime; 2 learn and understand the rules, strategy, terminology, and scoring of the sport; 3 provide a positive personal and social experience through leisure time activity that will benefit immediate physical outlet needs, and 4 learn to play with better intensity, execute shots with accuracy and consistency, and maintain a high level of physical energy.
