EDUC 216 Arts and Technology in K-12 Classrooms

This course introduces students to the principles and practices of integrating the arts and technology in K–12 educational settings. Emphasizing the role of creativity in teaching and learning, students will explore how visual arts, music, drama, and movement can be combined with digital tools to support student engagement and learning across the curriculum. Topics include arts integration strategies, digital media production, collaborative project design, and the use of educational technologies to meet diverse learner needs. Students will gain practical skills and pedagogical approaches for creating rich, interdisciplinary learning experiences that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation in the classroom.
