PHTH 705 PT Diagnosis & Management III: Cardiopulmonary

This course covers the physical therapy patient/client management model applied to the cardiac and pulmonary practice patterns. Emphasis is on coronary artery disease (CAD), congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and their effects on patient outcomes. Case studies integrate psychosocial issues, pathophysiology, diagnostic imaging, pharmacology and nutrition.
