PHTH 755 Concepts & Issues in PT II: Pediatrics
The characteristics of the pediatric population and associated concerns that warrant physical therapy are addressed. Diverse pediatric settings are explored. In addition, health promotion, wellness and fitness are also covered. Specific assessments, intervention strategies, management techniques and discharge planning of the client/patient are considered. Population-specific documentation, legislation, community resources, adaptive equipment and supplies are addressed.
