DANC 305 Dance History

Origins of dance to the present. Dance as it has developed from ancient, religious and ritualistic movement to post-modernism. Emphasis upon ancient forms, courtly life, the development of ballet, modern dance, post-modernism, and jazz. Meets QuEST Arts requirement when taken with DANC 101, 102, 103, or 104.
