NURS 602 Foundational Concepts of the Family Nurse Practitioner Role II

This course is a continuation of foundational concepts of the family nurse practitioner role presented in NURS 601: Foundational Concepts of the Family Nurse Practitioner Role I. Key points include aspects of the advanced practice nurse/patient relationship, teacher/mentoring roles, introduction to healthcare delivery systems, technology in practice, quality, and safety indicators of clinical practice. A verification of advanced physical assessment, clinical skills, and simulated patient care is required in the simulation laboratory.
