OCCU 565 OT Process: Pediatric Practice
This course focuses on the occupational therapy process as it applies to pediatric populations. Emphasis will be placed on the use of occupation-based models of practice and frames of reference to guide clinical reasoning for intervention in children whose occupational performance is affected by various developmental, physical, and psychosocial conditions. Screening, assessment, formulation of intervention plans, treatment implementation, discontinuation of services, and documentation of services will be addressed.
