CIS 287 Introduction to Game Design

Through a series of game design and development projects, students will be introduced to a range of video game genres and factors influencing games' playability, entertainment and educational value. Students will play and then evaluate, from a Christian perspective, both commercial games and games created by their peers. Students will employ a requirements-based iterative software development process, working with a typical set of software tools used to create prototype video games.
