Accounting Certificate

Program Overview

The accounting certificate prepares students to summarize, analyze and report business finances from day-to-day transactions through managerial and cost accounting.

Learning Objectives

Students who complete Messiah’s accounting certificate demonstrate the ability to:

  1. Recall, recognize, and interpret foundational content related to managerial and cost accounting and taxation
  2. Apply business concepts, strategies and tactics
  3. Conduct methodological secondary research into business issues
  4. Articulate how the Christian faith informs one’s work life, career, and daily business practices
