RELI 321 Christianity in Latin America

Historical overview and contemporary survey of Christianity in Latin America. Attention will be given to the social history of the churches and to developments in theology. The Catholic Church will provide the major focus, but Protestant developments (especially Pentecostalism) will be considered.
