NRSG 301 Ethics for Nursing Practice

In an ever-changing world impacted by scientific and technological advances, economic fluctuations, and pluralistic worldviews, nurses must become familiar with ethical dilemmas presented regularly in nursing. This course will introduce and guide students in the exploration of ethical theories rooted in philosophical and theological foundations for the purpose of exercising clinical judgment with a variety of patient populations. This course will prepare students to exercise justice and unbiased care when confronted with persons whose values contrast with the healthcare provider.
