NURS 740 Managing Healthcare Quality and Safety

This course prepares healthcare leaders to use data to interpret and improve quality and patient safety outcomes. Key areas of focus include quality improvement models, application of theories related to quality and safety, and the use of quality improvement methods and tools.  Students will apply a quality and safety lens to examine and evaluate actual problems in healthcare and consider how data can be used to inform decision-making for system level improvement.
