PHTH 610 Clinical Gross Anatomy

Clinical Gross Anatomy is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the structural, functional and developmental anatomy of the human body. Particular consideration will be given to the bony structures, vasculature, innervation, musculature, and relationships of the various structures to one another.  The student should learn the general form, location, and relationships of these features and acquire a vocabulary essential for future PT studies.  This course is also intended to provide a detailed knowledge of the body regions and aims to integrate a basic understanding of embryology and surface anatomy. Case studies of the body are presented in parallel with the designated body regions
