PHTH 725 Integumentary and Other Systems Physical Therapy
This course covers the physical therapy patient/client management model as it is affected by dysfunction with the integumentary and other systems and any associated practice patterns. Students are introduced to management of wounds, ulcers, and burns. Dysfunction related to the lymphatic, endocrine and metabolic, genital and reproductive, gastrointestinal, renal and urologic, hematologic, hepatic and biliary and immune systems. Case studies integrate psychosocial diagnostic imaging, pharmacology and nutrition.
