PHTH 741 Equity and Belonging in Healthcare

This course provides the student with opportunities to examine the role of culture in health and wellness as it relates to self, clients/patients, physical therapy, and local and global healthcare arenas. Students use technology to interact with diverse individuals and to practice culturally sensitive practices and competencies. Cultural competency assessments and research expand student learning and abilities. Students discuss a faith-based perspective and relate it to other religions.
