PHTH 820 Research IV

In this course, students continue their research project, which can be one of the following: Systematic Review, Critically Appraised Topic (CAT), Clinical Trials, Diagnostic studies, Qualitative Studies, or other types of qualitative or quantitative research. Students are expected to complete their research paper and design the research poster. Students are also expected to submit their projects to relevant conferences as part of the research dissemination process. Research findings will be disseminated via a poster presentation at an appropriate venue chosen by the Messiah University DPT Program. Examples of appropriate research dissemination venues include physical therapy national and international conferences, Messiah University DPT Program Research Symposium as well as Messiah University interprofessional research related events.
