APHS 315 Stress Testing and ECG Interpretation

The course provides the student with an understanding of basic electrocardiogram interpretation for the normal and the diseased heart at rest and during graded exercise testing. The course will review the anatomy and physiology of the cardio respiratory system and will include a survey of electrocardiography, including the topics of rate, rhythm, hypertrophy, axis determination, atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, conduction defects, myocardial ischemia, and myocardial infarction.
