CHIN 102 Fundamentals of Chinese II

Building upon CHIN 101, this Chinese course continues to advance students’ Chinese proficiency in all four language skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Adopting a communicative approach, this course will strengthen students’ knowledge in the 5 language learning goals (Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons and Communities) and encourage students to use the language in authentic contexts. Upon successful completion of this class, students will be able to carry out more complex conversations with native Chinese speakers.
