CIS 494 Cybersecurity Capstone

This semester-long capstone course involves a project that requires students to apply the skills acquired throughout the cybersecurity program. In this senior-level seminar, students will implement and verify a technical capstone project specific to their major discipline. This project is researched and designed under the supervision of the course instructor. Upon completion, projects will be fully documented and presented both in writing and orally to appropriate audiences. Additionally, students are encouraged to pursue cybersecurity certifications to enhance their professional credentials. The course places a strong emphasis on ethics and Christian character in the life of a cybersecurity professional, and it fulfills the writing-intensive requirement for the Cybersecurity major.
