COMM 220 Advanced Cinematography & Lighting Techniques

An overview of advanced cinematography and lighting techniques, this course will prepare students to work with both film and digital technologies, with an emphasis on framing, camera movement and lighting technologies and aesthetics. Students will delve deeper into DIT and post-production workflow, camera movement techniques, color theory and safety protocols for camera and grip work through hands-on technical instruction, analysis, exercises and projects.
