PHIL 382 Ethics

Students will explore the fundamental questions surrounding ethics. Students will discuss the nature, scope, and underlying assumptions of moral language and concepts. Students will engage with the intricacies of ethical and meta-ethical theories, critically examining how we understand and discuss moral truths, language, and the nature of morality itself. By the end of the course, students will have a deeper understanding of the philosophical foundations of ethics and the complex debates surrounding the nature of moral reality.
